St George’s Day Royal Historical Fayre

Come and meet the guild and have a go at spinning, weaving or braiding at Aylesbury’s St George’s Day Royal Historical Fayre in the Learning Zone at Discover Bucks Museum.

Bucks Guild of WSD have been invited to take part in the Aylesbury Town Council’s annual Historical Fayre on St George’s Day, this year with a royal theme. Along with free weaving and braiding activities for children and information about the history of our crafts, visitors can have a go at  spinning on a drop spindle or weaving on a rigid heddle loom.

There are lots more activities taking place and the Grand Parade in the Market Square afterwards. Take a look at Aylesbury Town Council website for the programme.
