Current Challenge
Please help us cover our library shelving. Looks rather boring doesn’t it? We’d like to make a colourful cover for our shelving at the village hall to protect the books etc.
Members are invited to make panels approximately A4 in size to attach to a fabric cover for the shelving unit. We would like to showcase the techniques of weaving, spinning or dyeing. Beyond that it’s up to your imagination. Perhaps you’d like to incorporate the guild name or logo in some way. The edges need to be finished so that the piece can be stitched onto the backing fabric. Please do add your name and the date to the back of your piece of work for posterity. Thank you.
