Helen Munday on Design – October 2024 Meeting
20 October @ 11:00 am - 4:00 pm
Weaver, Helen Munday, is returning with her sketchbooks and weavings to talk about designing from an inspirational source.
In 2019, former-member Helen Munday talked to us about her sketchbooks and the journey from inspiration to finished item. She brought material with her so that we could all try out various sketchbook techniques. We welcome her back to talk about designing from an inspirational source and give us a chance to play again. There will be hands-on activities in the afternoon, so start gathering your inspiring pictures, and magazines to cut up, if you’d like to take part.
Alternatively, just join your guild friends for social crafting and bring along your latest spinning, weaving or dyeing project to show off or to ask advice. Watch this space for further details or sign up to the newsletter to make sure you get the latest news.
Don’t forget to bring your decorated guild apron to be judged in our autumn competition. Plus Lucy will go through any homework that is needed for November’s art yarns session.
