Guild 70th Anniversary Tea Party – April 2024 meeting

Celebrate 70 years of the Bucks Guild at our Anniversary Tea Party. There will be cake!
April marks 70 years since the founding of the Buckinghamshire Guild of Weavers, Spinners and Dyers, and we are celebrating with a tea party. Along with birthday cake and good company, there will be a display of the guild’s history and weaving and spinning related music to enjoy. Plus see the results of the guild’s current competition, using a specially commissioned anniversary blend of fibre. So bring along your entry.
Former members are welcome, along with anyone interested in reminiscing about the guild or finding out what we are up to now. Feel free to bring along a project to work on. Drop in anytime.
£5 per person, includes sandwiches, cake, tea and coffee.
Free parking, accessible venue and toilets.
Regular Features:
- Show and Tell – bring something you have recently finished or are still working on to share your progress.
- Sales Table – You are invited to bring craft related and other items for sale. Please, no jumble. 20% of sales goes to the Guild.
- Raffle – with craft related prizes.
TIME/FORMAT: 11.00am – 4.00pm
11.00 – 12.00 Set up and guild notices
12.00 – 3.30 Tea Party and Crafting. Guests welcome!
3.30 – 4.00 Raffle draw and tidy up
