Spinning Troubleshooting – October 2025 meeting
Troubleshooting your Spinning with Marilyn Wright
Marilyn is a regular contributor to Ply magazine and has offered to help members improve their spinning techniques. She will be talking after lunch, so bring your wheel and your questions.
Also this month we will be displaying the Inspired by Architecture competition entries again and hearing the stories behind them in the morning. It’s always inspiring learning how people have made their pieces.
If you don’t wish to stay for the whole day, you can always just pop in for the morning or the afternoon. The cost is the same to all visitors – £7 including drinks and cake!
Regular Features:
- Social Crafting – even if you’re not a spinner, bring your latest project to work on amongst fellow fibre fans.
- Show and Tell – bring something you have recently finished or are still working on to share your progress.
- Sales Table – You are invited to bring craft related and handmade items for sale. Please, no jumble. 20% of sales goes to the Guild.
- Raffle – with craft related prizes.
